We’re currently seeking Registered Nurses to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas;

Our Medical Telemetry Unit Is a 38‑bed Unit Focused On Providing a High Level Of Direct And Individualized Care. This Unit Offers You With Ample Learning Opportunities With a Full Spectrum Of Medical Diagnoses And Comorbidities. Our Medical Telemetry Unit Also Offers

We Have a Varied Medical/telemetry Population Including
  • Sepsis
  • Pulmonary Conditions or Respiratory Distress
  • Chest Pain
  • Infection
  • Patients requiring isolation; including to negative airflow rooms
  • Patients requiring skin and wound care including wound vacs
  • Patients requiring scopes, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, central line placement, paracentesis, angio-cath, pacemaker insertions and chest tubes.
  • Enteral Feeding Tube Insertion and Maintenance
  • Patients requiring Cardiac monitoring
  • GI abnormalities
  • Trach care
  • Genitourinary abnormalities

Requirements Of

The Ideal Candidate
  • Graduate of RN School of Nursing
  • ADN required
  • Must be licensed to practice professional nursing by the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners
Qualifications
  • Grad of an Accredited Program
  • Specialized field of study should be nursing.
  • RN license.
  • Must have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role.
