Med Pro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a travel assignment in Temple, Texas.

• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or in the process of obtaining one
• At least one year of professional working experience
• Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology
• Current CPR certification
• Contract Clinical Credentialing and Certification (CCC's)
• Other requirements may be specified by the client facility

The Speech Language Pathologist / SLP is responsible for the assessment and treatment of patients with speech, hearing, and/or language deficits. The SLP teaches patients how to produce sounds, improve voice, enhance oral or written language skills, and develop swallowing strategies to prevent choking.

• Provide skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders
• Assess patient needs, plan care, evaluate progress, and modify treatment to meet therapy goals
• Set realistic and achievable goals for patients to develop or recover reliable communication and swallowing skills, enabling them to fulfill educational, vocational, and social roles
