About the Role
A leading private eye care practice in Temple, TX, seeks a skilled and compassionate Optometrist to join its friendly team. This opportunity offers a generous sign‑on bonus, relocation support, and a collaborative clinical environment using advanced diagnostic technology. New graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive eye exams for patients of all ages
- Diagnose and manage ocular diseases and visual disorders
- Educate patients on ocular health and preventive care
- Recommend and fit specialty contact lenses
- Operate advanced equipment (Optos, glaucoma testing, lensometer, tonometer, phoropter)
- Collaborate with optometrists and support staff
- Serve approximately 22 patients each day
- Compensation ranges from $120,640 to $196,040 annually
- Earn eligibility for a 14.5% production bonus
- Sign‑On bonus offers $10,000 to $20,000
- Relocation assistance provides up to $5,000
- Maintain a Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM schedule
- Hold a valid state optometry license or actively pursue one
- Demonstrate 1–3 years of clinical experience (new grads encouraged)
- Communicate clearly and organize effectively
- Thrive in a fast‑paced, patient‑focused environment
- Exhibit business acumen and leadership skills
