Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday | 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
We are seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with strong cardiovascular experience to join a leading surgical team in Temple, Texas. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled surgical professional who thrives in a fast‑paced operating room environment and has hands‑on experience supporting complex cardiovascular procedures.

- Preparing operating rooms, instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies
- Maintaining sterile technique and ensuring compliance with infection prevention standards
- Anticipating surgeon and surgical team needs throughout procedures
- Assisting with patient positioning, draping, and operative site preparation
- Passing instruments and supplies during surgery
- Performing surgical counts according to established protocols
- Handling surgical specimens following facility procedures
- Assisting with room turnover and instrument decontamination processes
- Supporting inventory management and maintaining surgical equipment readiness
- Following AORN, OSHA, and regulatory guidelines to ensure patient and staff safety
Required:
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Surgical Technologist experience
- Strong CVCT experience including:
- Open Heart Surgery
- Open Vascular Surgery
- Endovascular Procedures
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program, military surgical technology training program, or otherwise qualified under applicable state regulations
Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of sterile and aseptic technique
- Strong understanding of surgical anatomy and cardiovascular procedures
- Ability to anticipate surgeon needs and work effectively in a collaborative surgical environment
- Outstanding communication and teamwork skills
