Schedule patient surgeries at various places and enter surgery appointments under the patient's appointment desktop;
Advise patients on pre- and post-operative instructions and confirm health information;
Schedule and obtain pre-op evaluations and surgical clearance documentation;
Ensure insurance information is loaded, attached to the visit, and verified; attach authorization information to the appointment;
Performs precertification and verification of surgical benefits with insurance companies;
Maintain and monitor surgical block time to maximize utilization and adjust schedules for cancellations or emergencies
