Senior Manager - Enterprise Data Management

JOB SUMMARY

As a Senior Manager, Enterprise Data Management, you are responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of enterprise data and ensuring it is accurate, governed, secure, and accessible across the organization. You are a collaborative leader who thrives at the intersection of business and IT, translating data strategy into day-to-day execution that supports decision-making and operational efficiency.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Oversee enterprise data management operations, ensuring data quality, governance, security, and accessibility across business domains.

* Lead and manage data-focused teams, providing direction, prioritization, and support to meet organizational goals.

* Establish and enforce data standards, policies, procedures, and governance frameworks across critical data domains (e.g., customer, supplier, product).

* Partner closely with business and IT stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into actionable data management practices.

* Drive initiatives to reduce redundant data entry, manual reconciliation, and inefficient data processes.

* Monitor data health, quality metrics, and compliance, continuously identifying opportunities for improvement.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

* Hands-on experience implementing data governance frameworks, data quality standards, and stewardship models.

* Strong understanding of enterprise data domains, master data management (MDM), and reference data concepts.

* Experience managing teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders in complex organizations.

* Working knowledge of data platforms, databases, data integration tools, and analytics environments.

* Excellent communication skills with the ability to balance technical concepts and business outcomes.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education:

Bachelor's degree required

Experience:

7+ years of experience in enterprise data management, data governance, or a closely related role, with 10-15 years of overall IT experience.
