Warehouse Lead

Lead and support the communication flow to load the finished product to the trailers and prepare documentation (bill of lading and invoice).

Essential Functions
  • Ability to complete all essential functions of Warehouse Associate position.
  • Lead a group of shipping and receiving team members.
  • Responsible for the communication flow to load the finished product to the trailers.
  • Communicate instructions to the equipment inside the warehouse.
  • Coordinate the location where each trailer will be loaded.
  • Prepare the documentation to issue a purchase order (Bill of Lading and invoice).
  • Communicate with carriers to ensure on time and form the collection and/or loading of the finished product.
  • Review operator and carrier line data in Tracking Platform.
  • Ensure that food safety practices and all applicable requirements of the SQF System are maintained.
  • Communicate any deviation, problem, or abnormality with the equipment, processes, and products.
  • Perform any task that is not deemed unreasonable or unsafe and is asked by team member’s manager or supervisor.

Travel requirements:
No traveling is required for this position.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 4 Years – Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment.
  • 4 Years – Experience in Position.
  • 4 Years – Experience managing people/projects (experience may include a combination of work experience and education).
Preferred Qualifications
  • 6 Years – Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment.
  • 6 Years – Experience working in Position.
  • 6 Years – Experience managing people/projects (experience may include a combination of work experience and education).
Competencies
  • Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, Oracle.
  • Intermediate Knowledge of storage systems.
  • Good verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to communicate with different levels of the organization.
  • Ability to resolve conflicts.
  • Ability to analyze information.
Education

Minimum

Required:

High School Diploma.

Preferred:
Associate's Degree.
