Job Responsibilities- Plan, organize, and schedule crews to complete assigned work orders, including assigning tasks, assuring high‑quality installation, and performing quality inspections.
- Productivity Planning for assigned scope of work.
- Material Phasing – Organize material by specific areas/floors and track inventories.
- Tools & Equipment – Identify all tools and equipment required to support each crew, inspect tools, and maintain accountability with sign‑out sheets.
- Information Packages – Ensure each crew activity has required information packages (contract drawings, shop drawings, panel schedules, cut sheets, etc.).
- Control breaks – Monitor and record break times and other non‑productive time.
- Submit daily hour/unit reports for crew members using the standard Time Sheet.
- Conduct quality control inspections following established QC plans and check‑lists.
- Maintain accurate as‑built drawings, updating and logging onto master record contract drawings at least weekly.
- Inventory all tools & equipment at day’s end; submit inventory/inspection sheets every Monday.
- Report lost, stolen, or damaged tools.
- Review and sign all AHA’s related to the foreman’s scope of work and store them at the gang box.
- Submit daily equipment inspection sheets for all equipment assigned to the foreman once a week.
- Accident/Incident Reporting & Investigation – Follow procedures to report within 24 hours.
- Clean up – Ensure all work areas are left in a broom‑swept condition at day’s end.
- Installation must meet or exceed codes, contractual obligations, best practices, and Corporate Quality Policy requirements.
- Implement all facets of the Project Quality Plan and document deviations, communicating with the site Q.C. representative for approval.
- Assist the Site Q.C. representative in 3‑Phase Quality Control implementation (Preparatory, Initial & Follow‑up for each DFOW).
- Document and return CQC check‑lists to the Site Q.C. representative to ensure timely inspections.
- Initiate discrepancy notices (EDN, DDN, PDN, FDN, ADN, PITDN, CDN) to document and communicate issues for resolution.
- Review weekly installation quality scorecards to address systemic issues via root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Address daily Q.C. report quality issues with crew to eliminate nonconformities.
- Ensure timely resolution of nonconformity tags identified by site Q.C. representative.
- Participate in QAQC Design Review of engineering & coordination drawings for constructability issues.
- Provide feedback on the Quality portion of the daily ORM work briefing.
- 8+ years of experience in the electrical industry with a High School diploma or GED.
- 6+ years of experience with an Associate degree.
- Lift, carry, and move objects up to 50 pounds regularly; demonstrate physical strength and stamina.
- Relocate a 12‑foot stepladder without assistance.
- Work at heights up to 60 feet, including ladders, catwalks, scaffolds, and aerial lifts.
- Perform routine movements (walk, climb, lift, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, reach overhead).
- Have good vision (corrected is acceptable) and the ability to see in color and hear/communicate in English.
- Use a standard ladder while carrying tools without exceeding the weight limit.
- Recognize potential problems even if unable to solve them.
- Apply general rules to specific problems to derive logical solutions.
- Combine information to develop general rules or conclusions.
- Observe details up close (within a few feet).
- Listen and understand spoken information and ideas.
