Sanitation Manager

Position Summary

Manages supply chain processes and ensures merchandise flow through the distribution network and fulfillment centers by directing resolutions and responding to the escalation of daily issues.

• Analyzes data from multiple stakeholders to streamline and improve network efficiencies.
• Provides data for the supplier compliance process flow.
• Researches and analyzes the root cause of daily and escalated exceptions concerning shipping, receiving, inventory and returns.
• Conducts performance reviews of sanitation associates.
• Provides recommendations for corrective actions to key stakeholders.
• Cleans warehouse ceilings, racks and walls in all chambers of the warehouse, including freezers.
• Supports plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs.
• Identifies and communicates goals and objectives.
• Builds accountability for and measures progress in achieving results.
• Identifies and addresses improvement opportunities.
• Demonstrates adaptability and promotes continuous learning.
• Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring, training, mentoring and assigning duties.

• Manages the correction of error processes and feedback loops.

• Supports the use of end-to-end costing methodologies and lean concepts.
• Provides cost recommendations to reduce process waste.
• Identifies opportunities for cost reductions and process efficiencies.
• Reviews and analyzes the impact and benefits to internal processes.
• Coordinates and aligns planning with organizational initiatives and directions.
• Looks at work plans and makes changes as needed to achieve team or work group objectives.
• Sets realistic timelines for goal accomplishment.
• Improves work processes and practices to increase performance and results.
• Holds associates accountable for completing work within expectations and time requirements.
• Plans and manages team member time based on business priorities and follows up to ensure all work requirements are completed in a timely and accurate manner.

• 2 years’ supervisory experience.
• 2 years’ experience in warehouse or manufacturing plant sanitation.
• 2 years’ experience with Microsoft Office.
