Wilsonart in Temple, Texas has openings for Collator Helper.

These individuals will obtain raw materials to be collated at specified lengths as determined by the Product Quality Department. Make sure machine is running properly at all times. Performs other task as needed. This is a straight day position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Obtain daily inventory needs from Phenolic Checker or Team Lead

* Visually inspect rolls for damage, discard any damaged paper in the appropriate waste can

* Continually monitor raw materials for visual quality and line-up, make any necessary adjustments

* Thread machine up; make splices and re-thread machine as needed

* Change out pallets and make sure corresponding tags are placed in each completed pallet

* Make sure all computer work and paper work is completed

* Set up rolls for oncoming crew

* Regular Attendance Required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

* Operation of equipment and machinery in a safe manner.

* Knowledge of the safety standards applicable to the Production areas and other pertinent rules / regulations governing work standards.

EDUCATION:

High School Graduate or GED

EXPERIENCE:

Have at least 6 months Contech experience. If no applicants possess, the company will accept one (1) year experience in Phenolic/Core area.
