Shipping and Receiving Associate 2nd Shift

Cornerstone Building Brands is a leading manufacturer of exterior building products for residential and low‑rise non‑residential buildings in North America. Headquartered in Cary, N.C., we serve residential and commercial customers across the new construction and Repair & Remodel markets.

Base pay rate is $17.00 per hour plus $0.50 shift differential

Second Shift: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM (or until all trucks are loaded; some weekends required). This position has potential overtime. Shifts may be 8, 10, or 12 hours, depending on work orders and season.

• Load product onto the trailer using a packing list to verify all parts are accounted for.
• Place parts on the trailer safely in accordance with manufacturing procedures to prevent damage during shipment.
• Know and apply all safety rules and precautions necessary for a manufacturing environment.
• Package, crate, or load items to ensure safe arrival and capacity loading.
• Use all types of crating and packaging materials, metal bands, coverings, or other methods to secure and protect parts during shipment and for weighing trucks as required.
• Determine when to check actual vs. maximum allowable trailer load for each lift.
• Constantly check each load to assure that the job is complete.
• Expedite completion of work in process to meet production schedules.
• Assist with inventory counts as needed.
• Maintain continuous improvement practices in the work area.
• May be assigned additional projects or duties as directed by the Team Leader.

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other lifting equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds continuously, both above shoulder height and below the waist.
