CHEP is looking for motivated Pallet Disassembly Operators for our Temple, TX team. The role requires experience with power tools and repetitive heavy lifting. This is a 1st‑shift position (Monday‑Friday, 5:30 am‑2:00 pm).

Compensation
$22.15/hour, weekly pay with direct deposit

The Disassembly Operator is responsible for efficiently disassembling the top or bottom component of pallets, working in collaboration with other operators. The role requires precision, attention to detail, and strict adherence to quality and safety protocols.

• Follow repair guidelines to remove defective components from both bottom and top decks of pallets.
• Replace connector boards that are out of specification.

• Conduct visual inspections to identify defects or irregularities in pallet construction.
• Ensure adherence to repair guidelines and quality standards throughout the process.

• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment following company safety standards.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment daily.
• Report any safety hazards or concerns immediately.

• Work closely with other assembly line operators.
• Communicate effectively to ensure smooth transitions between assembly and processes.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during disassembly/assembly.

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of production tools such as pneumatic nail guns or other relevant equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high‑quality work.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with others.
• Ability to work flexibly in a changing environment.

• Proven experience in a similar manufacturing role.
• Previous experience following quality control procedures.
• Excellent communication skills.

• Standing for extended periods, lifting, and repetitive motion.
• Must meet physical demands of the job.
