What we needWe're currently seeking full-time experienced (12 Months+) Registered Nurses to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas;

This 38-bed Cardiac telemetry-monitored nursing unit offers the opportunity to work with a wide variety of patients, ranging from Adults to Geriatrics. The conditions that are within the scope of service for the cardiac telemetry unit include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Stable Cardiac medical conditions such as:
- Cardiac Ablations
- Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion (Watchman)
- Permanent Pacemaker Placement
- Chest Pain
- Congestive Heart Failure
- Vascular Interventions
- Percutaneous Cardiac Interventions
- Stable Neurological Conditions such as:
- Stable Stroke
- Seizure
- Weakness
- Syncope
The Cardiac Care Unit works closely with multidisciplinary teams across social services, case management, physical therapy, respiratory therapy, and dietary services. Patient care in the Cardiac Care Unit is grounded in evidence-based best practices to ensure quality care. Requirements of the Ideal Candidate- Graduate of an RN School of Nursing
- ADN required; BSN preferred
- Must be licensed to practice professional nursing by the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas
- Minimum 12 Months of RN experience, Acute Care or Hospital setting preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Graduate of an Accredited Program
- Specialized field of study should be nursing
- RN license
- Must have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role
