Part Time Plasma Center Nurse- RN

Job Description

Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) will support plasma center operations, manage donor eligibility, monitor donor adverse events, review laboratory test results, and provide medical guidance under the Center Manager and Center Physician.

• Determine donor eligibility and manage informed consent, AIDS education, and self‑exclusion.
• Conduct medical history interviews, physical examinations, blood testing, and review of serological protein electrophoresis.
• Evaluate donor reactions and follow SOPs for medical emergencies.
• Coordinate with Center Physician or Medical Affairs for medical or technical guidance.
• Support vaccination programs for employees and manage employee incidents.
• Serve as Pandemic Coordinator as authorized.

• High school diploma or graduate equivalent of a recognized nursing program with state requirements.
• State license or certification:
  Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA).
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Basic IV therapy skills per state requirements.
• Completion of FDA‑approved training for Bio Life Medical Support Specialist.
• At least two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Hourly wage range: $31.68 – $43.56 per hour (location: USA – TX – Temple). Compensation may vary based on qualifications, experience, and skills.
