Emergency Room Registered Nurse (Full‑time Evening) – Shift: 3:00 p.m. – 3:00 a.m. or 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Temple is seeking experienced and compassionate Emergency Room Registered Nurses to join our Level I Emergency Department. This is an excellent opportunity to grow in a high‑acuity, fast‑paced environment supported by strong clinical leadership and multidisciplinary teamwork.

• 636‑bed specialty care teaching hospital
• Only Level I Trauma Center between Dallas and Austin
• Certified Chest Pain Center and Certified Stroke Center
• 220+ ER visits per day
• 50 exam rooms and 6 trauma bays

• Provide high‑quality emergency care for adult and pediatric patients.
• Work closely with ED providers, social workers, and support teams.

• Current Texas RN license or compact license.
• Minimum one year of Emergency Department experience.

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a licensed professional who uses the BSWH nursing professional practice model to coordinate patient‑care delivery. Using the nursing process, the RN assesses the patient, identifies nursing diagnoses, develops and implements individualized plans of care, and evaluates outcomes. The RN promotes safe passage for patients through the healthcare encounter and delegates interventions based on the Texas Nursing Practice Act and patient condition.

• Education:
  
  Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum one year of RN experience in Emergency Room care.
• Certification/License/Registration:
  Registered Nurse (RN). Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
