We're currently seeking a Charge RN to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas;

Our Medical Telemetry Unit is a 38-bed unit focused on providing a high level of direct and individualized care. This unit offers you with ample learning opportunities with a full spectrum of medical diagnoses and comorbidities. Our Medical Telemetry unit also offers:

We have a varied medical/telemetry population including:

* Sepsis

* Pulmonary Conditions or Respiratory Distress

* Chest Pain

* Infection

* Patients requiring isolation; including to negative airflow rooms

* Patients requiring skin and wound care including wound vacs

* Patients requiring scopes, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, central line placement, paracentesis, angio-cath, pacemaker insertions and chest tubes.

* Enteral Feeding Tube Insertion and Maintenance

* Patients requiring Cardiac monitoring

* GI abnormalities

* Trach care

* Genitourinary abnormalities

Requirements of the Ideal Candidate:

* Graduate of RN School of Nursing

* ADN required

* Must be licensed to practice professional nursing by the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners

Qualifications

* We are looking for someone who has completed an established program in Nursing.

* At least (2) two years in the field.

* Registered Nurse License.

* You must have Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of being hired.
