Location

Temple, TX. (8th floor 8N) Day and Night shift available

What we need

We’re currently seeking Registered Nurses to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, TX.

Scope of Service

This 38‑bed telemetry‑monitored nursing unit provides the opportunity to work with a wide variety of patients ranging in age from adults to geriatrics. The conditions within the scope of service at 8 North include but are not limited to:

  • Medical Oncology
  • High‑dose Chemotherapy with Autologous Stem Cell Transplant
  • CAR T Cell Therapy
  • Administration of Chemotherapy, Biotherapy, and Monoclonal Antibodies
  • Surgical Oncology
  • Gynecologic Oncology
  • Administration of Radiation Therapy
  • Hematologic Disorders (Sickle Cell Crisis, Aplastic Anemia, Thalassemia, Thrombocytopenia)
  • Continuous Cardiac Monitoring (Telemetry)

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited program
  • Specialized field of study in nursing
  • RN license
  • Must have BLS certification or obtain it within 30 days of starting in this role
