Baylor Scott & White Continuing Care Hospital – Temple is a 48‑bed, highly advanced medical facility featuring private patient rooms and 24‑hour access to a dedicated team of physicians. Our modern, patient‑focused hospital delivers comprehensive acute care for patients requiring extended stays following serious illness, injury, or surgery. Skilled Nursing Unit with 23 beds 5:1 nurse‑to‑patient ratio Collaborative, supportive care environment

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides high‑quality, patient‑centered nursing care in the Skilled Nursing Unit. The RN is responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, and collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective care throughout the patient's stay.

Deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence‑based nursing care to skilled nursing patients Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing evaluations Develop, implement, and update individualized plans of care Administer medications and treatments per physician orders Collaborate with physicians, therapy services, and interdisciplinary team members Educate patients and families on care plans, treatments, and recovery goals Accurately document patient care in the medical record Uphold Baylor Scott & White standards for safety, quality, and service excellence

Graduate of an accredited nursing program Current RN license (or compact license) required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Previous experience in skilled nursing, acute care, or continuing care preferred Strong communication, teamwork, and critical‑thinking skills
