Administers high quality, skilled nursing care to patients requiring intermittent professional nursing services. Performs nursing service for patients in accordance with the physician's orders. Delivers nursing care according to the standards of care defined within the American Nurses Association (ANA) Standards of Clinical Practice Comfortable with Drips
- Required.

Why Medical Telemetry? Our Medical Telemetry Unit is a 38-bed unit focused on providing a high level of direct and individualized care. This unit affords you with ample learning opportunities with a full spectrum of medical diagnoses and comorbidities. Our Medical Telemetry unit also offers:

We have a varied medical/telemetry population including:

• Sepsis
• Chest Pain
• Patients requiring isolation or admission to negative airflow rooms
• Patients requiring skin and wound care- DHFT, PEGs, Wound Vacs
• Diagnostic procedures including thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, central line placement, paracentesis, angio-cath, pacemaker insertions and chest tubes.
• Nasogastric Insertion and Maintenance
• Enteral Feeding Tube Insertion and Maintenance
• Patients requiring cardiac monitoring due to chest pain or arrhythmias
• Patients with GI abnormalities
• Trach care, CBI, IV Therapy

Requirements of the Ideal Candidate:

• Graduate of RN School of Nursing
• ADN required
• Must be licensed to practice professional nursing by the Board of Nurse Examiners
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required.
• Functions competently and effectively under pressure and emergency situations

Qualifications Grad of an Accredited Program Specialized field of study should be nursing. RN license. Must have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role.
