We’re currently seeking Registered Nurses to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas – the #1 city in the nation for nursing opportunities and advancement! Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital is a 636‑bed specialty care teaching hospital and the only Level 1 Trauma Center between Dallas and Austin.

Our Medical Telemetry Unit is a 38‑bed unit focused on providing a high level of direct and individualized care. This unit offers ample learning opportunities across a full spectrum of medical diagnoses and comorbidities.

We treat a varied medical/telemetry population including:

• Sepsis
• Pulmonary conditions or respiratory distress
• Chest pain
• Infection
• Patients requiring isolation, including negative airflow rooms
• Patients requiring skin and wound care, including wound vacs
• Patients requiring procedures such as scopes, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, central line placement, paracentesis, angio‑cath, pacemaker insertions and chest tubes
• Enteral feeding tube insertion and maintenance
• Patients requiring cardiac monitoring
• GI abnormalities
• Trach care
• Genitourinary abnormalities

• Graduate of an RN school of nursing (ADN required)
• Must be licensed to practice professional nursing by the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners

• A degree from a recognized nursing program or two years of relevant work experience
• A minimum of one year's experience in the field of nursing
• A valid Registered Nurse license
• The ability to obtain Basic Life Support certification within the first 30 days of employment
