- Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg
- Healthcare Setting: Med/Surg / rehabilitation-focused acute care
- Location: Temple, TX 76504

Hours:
36 hours per week - Shift: 12-hour night shifts
- Start Date: ASAP
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,640 - $1,730
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of bedside nursing experience
- Current BLS certification required prior to first shift
- Current ACLS certification required prior to first shift
- Strong Med/Surg, acute care, or hospital nursing experience preferred
- Ability to provide safe, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Excellent communication, teamwork, assessment, and documentation skills
- Complete thorough nursing assessments within the first 8 hours of admission
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team
- Provide timely updates for team conferences and patient re-evaluations
- Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care
- Support patient and family education with a focus on recovery goals and discharge readiness
- Initiate discharge planning beginning on the day of admission
- Maintain accurate, timely, and complete clinical documentation in the medical record
- Communicate changes in patient condition clearly to physicians, charge nurses, and care team members
- Supervise and guide LPNs, CNAs, and other ancillary staff as appropriate
- Promote a safe environment by following nursing policies, safety standards, and infection prevention practices
- Contribute to a positive team culture and support efficient unit operations
