Food Service Director

Must hold a Food Manager's Certification

Are you a culinary leader with a love for great food and a talent for guiding others? We’re looking for a Lead Cook
to join our kitchen team and bring both excellence and heart to every dish served. In this hands‑on role, you’ll oversee daily kitchen operations, support menu execution, and mentor our culinary team, all while creating memorable dining experiences for our residents and guests.

• Supervise day‑to‑day back‑of‑house operations to ensure food quality, safety, and presentation standards
• Lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff to consistently deliver high‑quality meals
• Assist with menu planning, food prep, and special events
• Monitor inventory, ordering, and cost control in alignment with budget goals
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment that meets all health codes
• Collaborate with front‑of‑house and leadership teams to ensure a seamless dining experience
• Support innovation in recipes, presentation, and resident satisfaction

• 2–4 years of culinary experience in a supervisory or lead cook role (senior living, healthcare, hospitality a plus)
• Experience and/or knowledge of meal preparation for large groups.
• Ability to read and understand recipes, work in a team environment, work flexible shifts, handle multiple tasks at one time and communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with a team‑first mindset
• Passion for food, service, and continuous improvement
