Retail Associate/ Customer Service, Retail Support
Job Summary
Provide member service at Sam’s Club #6336, including maintaining the checkout area, resolving member issues, and promoting club products and services. Manage payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges while following company safety, security, and operational standards.
Responsibilities- Assist members with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, and using self‑service technology.
- Verify membership cards, identify member needs, and zone and arrange merchandise to ensure a safe shopping environment.
- Process member purchases, handle payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges in accordance with company policies.
- Conduct safety sweeps, report unsafe situations, and maintain entrance and exit areas.
- Maintain paperwork, logs, and required documentation; execute emergency response procedures and ensure compliance with security and safety practices.
- Teach new technology and tool functionality, deliver new program rollout training, and support continuous learning and process improvement.
- Identify shrink, damages, and overall area cleanliness; uphold ethical standards, uphold the Open Door Policy, and act with integrity.
- Collaborate with managers, co‑workers, and partners to prioritize tasks, communicate progress, and recommend improvements.
Retail experience that includes operating front‑end equipment (e.g., cash register) and working with mobile retail applications.
CompensationHourly wage range: $17.00 to $25.00*.
* The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
