Position Summary
As a Cake Decorator you will drive member service in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
What You’ll Do- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and help educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate and develop interpersonal skills for providing customer service and be flexible to the needs of the business while maintaining in‑stock levels and controlling shrinkage.
- Plan bakery productions ensuring consistency in quality and accuracy of decorative designs according to recipe measurement instructions; work with a variety of products such as decorating bags, tips, nozzles to create decorative flowers and lettering on bakery items; ensure adherence to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment; demonstrate understanding of product and layout execution.
- Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement by using handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
- Drive the performance of the bakery area by ensuring quality and date‑control standards, eliminating waste, and preparing for seasonal events that impact bakery volume such as holidays, graduations, and family events; identify member needs, assist members with purchasing decisions, and resolve member issues and concerns.
- Serve as a brand advocate by valuing the member experience in the Bakery, modeling high‑quality service and products, and interacting with associates to understand roadblocks and assist in training, development, influencing, and inspiring them to work in a respectful, supportive, and team‑oriented style.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, implementing related action plans using the Open Door Policy and applying them in executing business processes and practices.
- Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners; identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carry out tasks, communicate progress and information; determine and recommend ways to address improvement opportunities and adapt to and learn from change, difficulties, and feedback.

- At least 6 months’ experience in a fresh production area.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to complete all required trainings and assessments within prescribed time frames upon hire.
- Experience in Cake Decorating.
