Position Summary

Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates touring stores and providing feedback. Tours to teach, communicating and collaborating with all levels of associates regarding store operations utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising and company direction. Introduces and leads company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicating business objectives to teams effectively.

• Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following and demonstrating the One Best Way service model.
• Manage and support customer service initiatives, including store community programs and outreach, ensuring needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved.
• Provide process improvement leadership to ensure a high quality customer experience.
• Drive the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating Profit/Loss statements, managing budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses.
• Ensure effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes.
• Develop and implement action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals.
• Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting expectations, offering recognition, and communicating consistently.
• Coordinate and oversee job-related activities, maintain stakeholder relationships, and support plans to meet customer and business needs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, support mission, values, and ethical standards.
• Build high-performing teams that embrace diversity and foster a culture of belonging.

• 2 years of college; or 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; or 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
• For facilities that sell firearms, successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check and Firearms Authorized Training.
• For facilities that sell only ammunition, a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required.
• Required to attend and complete all job-required trainings and assessments.

• Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership.
• Experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, with responsibilities for performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.

The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 - $.

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
