Mobile Associate, Bilingual | Retail Sales

Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as a member of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T‑Mobile brand to life. They are brand ambassadors who build energy and excitement around our products and services, thrive in a fast‑paced environment, and continuously work to build expertise in uncovering customers’ needs and recommending device and service solutions. This learning role prepares associates for the next level as a Mobile Expert and requires successful completion of new employee training.

• Build proficiency in serving and selling to customers while providing a world‑class customer experience and building loyalty.
• Help customers pick up where they left off in their shopping journey, whether online, through Customer Care or in‑store.
• Explore individual needs and provide hands‑on demonstrations of the latest technology in‑store.
• Side‑by‑side sell to find personalized solutions beyond the bare‑bones device and service plan that keep customers connected to the people and lifestyle they love.
• Approach service and sales needs with composure, integrity and compassion.
• Become skilled with and consistently use digital tools to demonstrate coverage, network performance and T‑Mobile plans and services.
• Complete training on the T‑Mobile in‑store experience, new skills and processes, systems knowledge and reference resources.
• Make the most of time on shift by seeking information between customers and learning about innovations in wireless and technology.
• Establish relationships with and partner with T‑Mobile employees across channels to collectively own the customer experience and resolve issues.
• Identify and hand off small business leads as appropriate.
• Support team initiatives and create an inclusive environment.

• High School Diploma or GED (Required)
• At least 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience; retail environment preferred (Required)

• Passionate customer advocate who enjoys connecting with customers and having fun doing it (Required)
• Competitive drive and proven ability to succeed in a fast‑paced sales environment (Required)
• Willingness to work alongside peers and store leaders, sharing ideas and providing resolutions to issues (Required)
• Effective at balancing customer needs and performance goals (Required)

Hourly Base Pay: $18.00, plus $5.00 per hour training pay. Within the first 90 days, Mobile Associates receive on‑the‑job training and are eligible for the training pay. Once training is complete, Mobile Associates are promoted to Mobile Expert and become eligible for an annualized incentive target of $18,000/year (actual incentives vary based on performance and full‑time status). All employees are guaranteed to earn $20/hour inclusive of base pay and incentives, and are eligible for a annual stock grant.
