Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tuesday: 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Thursday: 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Saturday: 07:00 AM – 07:00 PM

• Provide customer service to visitors, shoppers, and store personnel by following site‑specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with management and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas, to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and security‑related concerns such as theft, trespassing, and disorderly conduct, and report findings according to post procedures.
• Support opening, closing, and high‑traffic operations by observing customer flow, checking restricted areas, and assisting with security‑related responses during busy business periods and/or special events.

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Have a valid driver’s license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Hold a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
