Maintenance Tech II will be responsible for repairing and maintaining all packaging and manufacturing equipment within the facility. You will be working cross functionally with other departments helping with daily equipment set-up, and organization of working areas. You will be responsible for assisting senior technicians with repairs and troubleshooting as assigned.

• Utilize Fiix to maintain correct logs of all routine maintenance, upgrades, tests, and repairs
• Perform both time and condition based preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of all greenhouse systems.
• Project based work including upgrades, renovations, construction, welding, and fabrication
• Assist senior technicians with repair and troubleshooting of automated equipment, and building systems
• Assist with daily rounds, and equipment monitoring throughout the facility
• Operate heavy equipment safely adhering to all OSHA guidelines
• Communicate both written and verbal with equipment manufacturers and vendors
• Wear necessary PPE to perform all tasks and protect product
• Assist with cleaning up after repairs
• Train on new maintenance overtime to advance to next level
• Assist and perform any other related duties as required or assigned

• Able to stand, squat, or kneel for extended periods of time
• Repetitive arm, shoulder, and hand movement the entirety of the shift
• Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, parts diagrams, and engineering drawings
• Computer skills

• Valid Driver’s License
• Forklift Certified, preferred
• 2 year of maintenance experience preferred
• 1 year of experience working with heavy equipment and/or irrigation systems preferred
• Must be willing to train in building automation (Priva), and maintenance management system Fiix) Classes will be provided for both systems and must be completed within 90 days of your onboarding

• This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities

20% Each area:
Packhouse, Greenhouse, Utilities, Harvest, Seeding and irrigation

• The temperatures in the greenhouse very depending on the weather outside
• Climate can range from hot and humid to cold depending on the location and time of year
• PPE must be worn at all times

• The temperatures in the packhouse are between 34-38°F to preserve product quality
• PPE must be worn at all times

• Constantly ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like.
• Occasionally moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces.
• Occasionally remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
• Constantly moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another
• Constantly lifting, adjusting or moving objects up to 50 pounds in all directions.
• Occasionally performing heavy work that includes moving objects up to 100 pounds or more.
• Constantly repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
• Occasionally operating machinery and/or power tools.
• Occasionally operating motor vehicles or heavy equipment.
