Heavy Equipment Vehicle Mechanics

Contract Professionals, Inc. (CPI) is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to support modification and maintenance operations on Bradley combat vehicles and related platforms. In this hands-on role, you’ll perform troubleshooting, repairs, and modification work, ensuring systems operate at peak performance to meet mission requirements. Will consider other wheel or track or ASE certified Mechanics

• Operate, troubleshoot, and repair combat vehicles and associated systems

• Perform modification work in accordance with Modification Work Orders (MWOs) and team directives

• Collaborate with the modification team to complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately

• Install retrofit kits and implement vehicle upgrades per engineering and safety guidelines

• Represent the company and its services in a professional, team-oriented manner

• Maintain accurate records of work performed and report status to team leads

• High School Diploma or GED

• Experience working on Bradley vehicles or similar combat vehicle systems

• Basic computer proficiency for reporting and documentation

• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• Physically capable of performing all essential job functions, including:

  • Working at heights and in confined spaces

  • Climbing stairs and ladders
  • Carrying a personal tool bag weighing up to 30 lbs

• Aluminum GMAW (MIG) welding with valid certifications

• Forklift operation

• Overhead crane operation
