Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Installation Technician
Pittsburgh Paints Company is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving manufacturing equipment and plant utility systems across all departments.
Key Responsibilities- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on belts, piping, filters, mixers, conveyors, valves, bearings, and seals
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment to resolve and prevent issues
- Maintain and repair pumps, motors, drives, conveyors, pneumatics, and production equipment
- Install and service control devices, sensors, and motor control systems
- Troubleshoot PLCs (Allen Bradley preferred) and 480V 3-phase electrical systems
- Read and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
- Perform basic welding and fabrication as needed
- 3–5 years of mechanical maintenance or skilled trades experience
- Must be 18 years of age, high school diploma or GED required
- Strong mechanical and electrical background
- Experience with hand tools and power tools
- Ability to read technical drawings and work independently
- Basic computer skills; CMMS experience a plus
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
