Maintenance Mechanic - 2nd Shift

Maintenance Mechanic – Temple, TX, 2nd Shift (2:00 PM – 10:15 PM), Full-time with benefits.

The Pittsburgh Paints Company is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic responsible for maintaining, repairing and improving manufacturing equipment and plant utility systems across all departments.

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on belts, piping, filters, mixers, conveyors, valves, bearings, and seals.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment to resolve and prevent issues.
• Maintain and repair pumps, motors, drives, conveyors, pneumatics, and production equipment.
• Install and service control devices, sensors, and motor control systems.
• Troubleshoot PLCs (Allen Bradley preferred) and 480 V 3‑phase electrical systems.
• Read and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
• Perform basic welding and fabrication as needed.

• 3–5 years of mechanical maintenance or skilled trades experience.
• Must be 18 years of age; high school diploma or GED required.
• Strong mechanical and electrical background.
• PLC troubleshooting experience (Allen Bradley preferred).
• Experience with hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to read technical drawings and work independently.
• Basic computer skills; CMMS experience a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
