Skillforce is looking for commercial electricians in Temple, TX to join our team! This is an on-going project working 40 hours a week with overtime possible. Pay for this role is up to $33/hr depending upon experience.

Commercial electrician duties and responsibilities:

• Ensure all work is performed according to safety standards with a focus on quality customer service, installation, and repair electrical wiring and systems.
• Inspect, test, and perform preventative maintenance of electrical equipment, lighting, signal, communications, and power circuits.
• Identify, communicate, and isolate electrical hazards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of commercial electrical construction practices including threading, bending conduit, and pulling/removing wire.
• Low and medium voltage
• EMT 3/4-1inch
• Cable pulling, splicing, and wall rough-in
• Running and bending conduit
• Completing terminations
• This is government facility. You must pass a background check with no record and DOT drug test

Physical requirements:

• Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring.
