As a Field Foreman
, you are responsible for leading the daily site construction work efforts to ensure the crew meets production goals determined by leadership. You believe in doing the job right. Being the best. And you’re up for the challenge.
- Understand and implement Mas Tec Communications Group's Health, Safety, and Environmental Policies (Safety Manual)
- Understand and implement Industry standards (OSHA, TIA
10-48, NATE CTS, and ANSI) - Ensure safety requirements at your sites and with your crew
- Oversee the daily operations and quality of work performed at assigned sites
- Maintain daily paperwork required for the site and the crew
- Implement and follow through with job instructions provided by leadership
- Compile all site-specific closeout documentation for your work effort
- Upload closeout documentation to customer interfaces
- Coordinate with the customer representative for site-related activities and maintain a good working relationship with the customer representative
- Provide leadership, guidance, and actively train/promote learning to all crew members
- Always maintain equipment and vehicles in operational condition
- Validate daily timesheets for Management
- Conduct other duties as assigned
- Install, route, secure, terminate, and test Cat6, coaxial, and fiber optic cabling
- Drill holes, pull cable, mount equipment, and prepare job sites using hand and power tools, including drills, hammers, saws, and fish tapes
- Assist with fiber optic splicing, cable termination, testing, and troubleshooting of copper and fiber networks
- Read and follow blueprints, floor plans, and cable layouts to complete installations accurately
- Transport, load, unload, and organize tools, equipment, and materials at job sites
- Climb ladders, work in ceilings, crawl spaces, and other construction environments while following all safety procedures
- Build, maintain, and troubleshoot structured cabling systems to ensure reliable network performance
- Diagnose and resolve installation and connectivity issues in the field
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while completing projects on schedule

- You have a track record of completing work with a high level of quality
- You have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to your work
- You are looking for long-term projects
- You enjoy getting your hands dirty with your team
- You have a High school diploma or general education degree (GED), and a technical degree is preferred
- You have at least 5 years of industry experience
- Possessing a WSA certification is a plus
- Must be at least 21 years old
- You have demonstrated expertise in construction skills, rigging, safety, and general industry knowledge
- You possess job-related certifications, like First Aid, Safety, and Rescue
- You have the ability to operate aerial lifts, man lifts, skid steers, and aerial platform equipment
- You must be able to read and interpret site plans, RFDS, construction drawings, and SOW
- You must be able to pick up to 50 lbs., and be capable of working up to 12 hours
- You have the ability to identify and distinguish colors
- You possess 10+ years of experience
- You have possession of OSHA 10
- You have excavator training
- You have a valid driver's license (Applicants are subject to a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review and must meet company standards for a safe driving record; Class C is preferred)
- Committed to maintaining a safe work environment and following OSHA and company safety standards.
- Strong attention to detail with a proven ability to produce high-quality workmanship
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach
- Comfortable performing physically demanding work, including lifting heavy materials, climbing ladders, and working in active construction sites
