Maintenance Technician; Temple, Tx

About the Role

As a CBRE Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning and aesthetic upkeep of our main hospital campus in Temple, Tx. This position is vital for maintaining high operational standards and providing a safe, efficient environment for our clients. You will be responsible for providing essential support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on various equipment and systems.

This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and execute repairs on facility aesthetics, including but not limited to painting, patching, and flooring.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections to proactively identify potential issues, diagnose problems, and implement necessary repairs across a range of building systems and equipment.
• Review assigned work orders diligently and utilize available systems to accurately track and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems. Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.
• Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks as described in detail.
• Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
