Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver

Pay: $16.00/hr (Part Time). Saturday & Sunday shift differential of $1/hr brings pay to $17.00/hr.

• Drive a company‑owned vehicle and safely transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x‑rays, hospital supplies, interoffice mail, and related materials.
• Operate a hand‑held scanning device to accurately track items through the transportation cycle.
• Strictly observe operating policies, procedures and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public through appearance and interaction.
• Load and unload company vehicles with appropriate equipment.
• Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior.
• Conduct pre/post‑trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, neat and orderly vehicle.
• Adapt to route assignments that may change from time to time and perform all duties across all routes assigned.
• Collaborate with teammates and clients, demonstrating teamwork, cooperation and adaptability.
• Support and nurture a collaborative Med Speed team culture.

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for at least 3 years.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
• Familiarity with technology and ability to adapt to it.
• Ability to follow procedures closely.
• Ability to determine efficient routing between multiple points.
• Must pass initial and random drug & alcohol screen.
• Must drive a non‑commercial vehicle throughout the shift on various roads and in varying weather conditions.
• Must have an excellent driving history.
• Must be able to regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to lift items off storage racks.
• Must be comfortable walking long distances and standing for long periods of time.
