Responsibilities
As a Distribution Partner II, you will work in a fast‑paced warehouse environment and be part of a highly functional Warehouse Team. You will ensure the safety and efficiency of warehouse operations, support your teammates, and contribute to on‑time trailer releases. This role serves as a foundation for a career path at H‑E‑B.
Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions- Warehouse Operations:
- Select cases of products and organize them on pallets for shipment to H‑E‑B stores.
- Prioritize accuracy and quality in all work assignments.
- Perform tasks safely, complying with work instructions and proactively addressing safety issues.
- Assist teammates by sharing technical information, facility knowledge, and procedures.
- Complete assignments on time, using time efficiently to support facility goals.
- Meet individual, team, and facility productivity goals.
- Operate equipment per SOPs to prevent damage.
- Maintain a clean and well‑organized work environment.
- Order Selectors: Select orders for shipment in an organized, clean, accurate, and damage‑free manner; mark and tag orders with shipment information.
- Forklift Operators: Safely move product from assigned slots, completing assignments cleanly and accurately.
- Loaders: Load items in an organized, clean, accurate, and damage‑free manner.
- San Marcos Automated Distribution: Manage end‑to‑end process flow for reusable store assets and completed store orders within the automated system, maintaining a clean, organized environment.
- Automated Facilities:
- Induct product into the automated system and resolve errors.
- Unload trailers and induct product into the automated system.
- Verify product quantity against purchase orders to receive inventory.
- Stocking: Open master cases, verify product against assigned location, and fill selection lanes for pick‑to‑light.

Qualifications & Key Requirements Work Experience- Experience in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience in a physically demanding job (plus).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic math skills (+, -, *, /); reading and writing skills.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team‑based environment and promote positive change.
- Ability to operate machines or equipment safely and independently.
- Ability to learn and use H‑E‑B in‑house systems.
- Ability to work with little or no supervision.
- Dependability and commitment to safety.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent (or equivalent).
- Lifting, standing, walking, squatting for extended periods.
- Repetitive lifting up to 60 lbs during a shift.
- Work in cold environments, if assigned to Refrigerated (34°) or Frozen (-10°) facilities.
- Work extended shifts and fluctuating hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
