* Job Description:

** Wilsonart in Temple, Texas has an opening for Plant Warehouse Person Temple Plant Receiving department currently has an opening for a Plant Warehouse Person. The Plant Warehouse Person transports carts, dumpsters, skids to the compactor and logs information for waste material.  Refills the propane tanks and operates the Sweeper & Scrubber as needed.  Performs other tasks as required.

* ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

*** Operate multiple pieces of industrial equipment
* Refills propane tanks and stores in designated area
* Transports full & empty dumpsters to and from the compactor
* Records weights and other information for all waste and recycling material
* Assist Receiving as needed with other routine tasks
*
* KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

*** Knowledge of computers is sufficient to input and retrieve data.
* Knowledge of products and their manufacturing processes.
* Ability to understand and follow directions
* Ability to use basic mathematical calculations.
* Ability to read and write legibly.
* Ability to identify material characteristics.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Ability to work independently.
* Ability to maintain a safe work environment.

* EXPERIENCE:

** One year work experience required.
*
* PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

** Heavy work - Tasks involve pushing/pulling, lifting and standing or using force equal to handling material 50 to 100 pounds
** ENVIRONMENT:
** Located in an indoor area with frequent exposure to mild physical discomfort from dust, fumes, temperature extremes, loud noises and bright lights. Examples: mail clerks, material handlers and food service workers
