We are seeking an experienced, passionate harp teacher. This position operates as part of the JCC Thurnauer School of Music faculty team and is responsible for teaching private harp lessons and associated duties.

• Teach private harp lessons to students ranging from beginner to advanced levels.
• Prepare students for performances.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to support student growth and musical development.
• Participate in school events such as recitals, faculty meetings, and outreach programs.
• Maintain clear communication with students, families, and administration.

$50–$60 per hour based on experience.

• Degree in harp performance or music education (Bachelor's required; Master's preferred).
• Demonstrated excellence in harp teaching and performance.
• Experience working with children and teens in a music education setting.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Availability to teach in-person at the JCC campus in Tenafly.

• Desire to build a robust harp program.
• Experience in ensemble coaching or chamber music.
