Senior Residential Support WorkerChildren's Home Weeley are recruiting for Senior Residential Support Workers! We are looking for enthusiastic, caring and passionate people to become an integral part of our support team. In this role, you will support our young people and be responsible for providing compassionate care during your time with them. This role also involves supporting the Registered Manager to run a successful staff team and to oversee the day to day operation of the home.

We are a 5‑bed home for children who have EBD (emotional and/or behavioural difficulties). We offer a supportive and nurturing environment for young people aged 8–18, any gender or non‑binary.
Due to the nature of this role, a full UK driving licence is required.

Requirements- A Level 3 Qualification in Children’s Residential and Childcare is essential.
- Previous experience within a residential childcare setting.
- Resilience—support can be challenging due to emotional, behavioural, autism, ADHD and associated difficulties.
- Communication—effective communication with young people and teamwork.
- Organisation—confidence and ability to update care plans and report relevant information.
- Caring and compassionate nature of supporting children.
- Attentiveness—recognise individual needs to provide focused support.

Please note, the advertised salary is calculated on the rate of £14.60 – £14.75 per hour, plus an average of 6 sleep‑ins per month at the rate of £55 per sleep‑in.
