Assistant Manager (Manpower Planning), HR – Tengah General and Community Hospital
Nestled in the heart of Tengah Forest Town, the new Tengah General and Community Hospital (TGCH) will be an exciting and innovative health campus with a comprehensive range of clinical specialties and healthcare services, including emergency, inpatient, rehabilitative, and outpatient specialist care. As part of the National University Health System (NUHS) cluster, this state‑of‑the‑art facility is slated to be ready by early 2030s.
As part of the HR team for manpower planning at TGCH, you will collaborate with stakeholders (including TGCH Management, Leads, Reporting Officers, HR Business Partners and HR Centre of Excellence teams) to support manpower recruitment and retention initiatives as the hospital prepares to open. The role requires you to act as the subject‑matter expert, providing strategic HR advice to internal stakeholders on manpower planning and developing data‑driven manpower analysis.
Proficiency with numbers, Excel functions and AI tools is essential to track and synthesize manpower numbers across different institutions within NUHS.
- Extract data from HR systems to deliver high‑quality reports and provide meaningful workforce insights for manpower dashboards and regular manpower reporting.
- Develop and maintain HR metrics to track workforce trends and performance indicators.
- Collaborate with HR teams, internal and external stakeholders on manpower projections for future hospital needs.
- Maintain accurate establishment data / budgeted FTE for budgeting, hiring and reporting purposes.
- Check and validate manpower projections and establishment.
- Ensure accurate data management in HR systems and tracking files.
- Provide professional advice on data analytics.
- Undertake projects/assignments which may be assigned from time to time.
- Degree in Analytics, Data Science, Statistics.
- Minimum 3 years of manpower planning / HR experience. Candidates with more relevant years of experience may be considered for the Senior Assistant Manager’s position.
- Experience with data visualization tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Meticulous with a flair for numbers.
- A team player with strong verbal, written communication, interpersonal and organisation skills.
- Agile and adaptable, with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment.
