Position Summary

The Corporate Accounting Coordinator supports the Sales Audit Shared Services department’s daily operations. Responsibilities include reconciliations, financial reporting, compliance, and audit assistance.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure financial reporting follows GAAP, IFRS, applicable laws, and Corporate Accounting Standards.
  • Follow Company Financial Policies and Procedures across Herschend subsidiaries.
  • Perform account reconciliations and evaluate general ledger balances for accuracy.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and audit procedures.
  • Research problems, determine corrections, and make recommendations.
  • Classify, record, and summarize financial data using current computer technology.
  • Assist Corporate Sales Audit Leader with special projects, financial analyses, and management reports.
Experience
  • College graduate with an Accounting degree.
  • Proven knowledge of and experience with accounting systems.
  • Budgeting and forecasting experience preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of spreadsheet preparation utilizing Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to learn and implement General Ledger software applications.
Skills

  • Strong understanding of accounting cycles, company operations, and accounting systems.
