$55,000 - $65,000 (depending on experience)

Position SummaryThe Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for managing and executing the full spectrum of accounts payable processes to ensure accurate and timely payment of vendor invoices and employee reimbursements. This role supports financial operations across departments and works closely with internal teams and external vendors to maintain strong relationships and enforce internal controls.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts Payable Processing
- Accurately review, code, and enter vendor invoices into the accounting system.
- Match purchase orders (POs), receiving reports, and invoices where applicable.
- Prepare and process electronic payments, ACH transfers, and check runs.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Perform three-way matching (PO, invoice, receipt) when required.
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment status, billing questions, and discrepancies.
- Set up new vendors, maintain vendor information, and ensure proper documentation and W-9s are on file.
- Respond to inquiries promptly and professionally.
- 2–5 years of AP or general accounting experience, ideally in logistics, construction, property management, or hospitality industries.
