Cost Accountant – Manufacturing | Automotive Industry

We are seeking a detail-oriented Cost Accountant with strong manufacturing and cost accounting experience to support financial operations in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment
. This role is responsible for accounts payable coordination, cost analysis, journal entries, reporting, and audit support, while working closely with internal teams and international stakeholders.

• Manage and coordinate Accounts Payable invoices from overseas suppliers
• Prepare journal entries related to inventory, sales, royalties, RMA, and accruals
• Perform cost accounting
  , inventory tracking, and exchange rate impact analysis
• Create monthly payment schedules (ACH/Wire) and financial management reports
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities
• Assist with external audits and financial documentation
• Maintain investment plans, business request logs, and budget tracking
• Support ERP reporting and cross-train with the accounting team as needed
• Act as liaison for Japanese coordinators and assist with administrative support

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required)
• 2+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing accounting principles
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle Net Suite, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or similar)
• Advanced Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting
• Experience supporting audits, variance analysis, and financial reporting

• Automotive manufacturing industry background
• Inventory management and cost analysis expertise
