Our client, a manufacturing leader specializing in container board and corrugated packaging, is seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable professional to join their team. As an Accounts Payable specialist, you will be an integral part of the Finance Department supporting the accounting and payroll functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:

Mascot, TN

Pay Range: $26.00

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

What's the Job?

• Post entries accurately and completely to the general ledger, verifying and balancing accounts.
• Process accounts payable transactions, including preparing batch payments.
• Audit and collect accounts receivable transactions, making adjustments as needed.
• Support weekly payroll processing and assist in month-end financial closings.
• Maintain accounting and payroll files in accordance with record-keeping policies and respond to corporate requests.

What's Needed?

• Associate degree
• At least 1 year of experience in a business office or accounting role, with exposure to general ledger, payroll, or accounts payable functions.
• Solid understanding of accounting procedures and computer systems, preferably Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple requests, and maintain confidentiality.
