Regulatory Compliance Specialist, Financial Compliance
Location: Rockford
Responsibilities
- Documentation: create and maintain process documentation for assigned tasks, regularly reviewing and refining documentation to reflect process changes, best practices and compliance requirements.
- Reporting: compile and analyze financial information for reports and metrics to other RTX departments, employees and supervisors.
- Auditing: perform calculations, analysis, and data entry to support the labor process including continuous checks for work accuracy to detect and correct errors within current responsibilities.
- Separations: calculate and process employee final paychecks daily by reviewing and reconciling timecards, including vacation or paid time off balances.
- Communication: provide effective customer support through reliable, quick, and accurate problem resolution.
- Collaboration:
coordinate with other RTX departments to guarantee precise responses and seamless operations. - Compliance: understand and ensure compliance with federal and state wage and hour laws and RTX policies.
- Associate’s degree (or equivalent 2‑year post‑high‑school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant payroll, timekeeping, finance, auditing, and/or compliance experience.
- Strong PC-based skills; intermediate proficiency in MS Word and Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.).
- Experience in payroll or timekeeping gained in a corporate environment.
- Working knowledge of SAP, EV5, and Work Day, with emphasis within areas of payroll or timekeeping.
- Detail‑oriented, self‑starter with ability to multi‑task, organize, and prioritize tasks to manage workload effectively.
- Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills to promote work efficiency.
- Exceptional customer service skills through verbal and written communication in a corporate environment.

Salaried position with a range of 53,100 USD – 100,900 USD, based on experience and qualifications. Eligible for annual short‑term and long‑term incentive compensation programs where applicable.
Location & Work ArrangementThis is a hybrid role. Eligible candidates must reside within commuting distance of Greenville/Richardson TX, Cedar Rapids IA, Farmington CT, or Rockford IL. Onsite work time will be determined in partnership with your leader.
