**** Position Summary
** The expectation of this position is to lead and direct a GP PS Hatchery team to provide quality products by meeting customer expectations and achieving financial and business objectives.

** Requirements
* *** Education
* ** Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience (typically acquired through four (4) years of college-level education).
** Experience
* ** Four (4) or more years of poultry management-related experience.
** Computer Skills
*** Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals using standard computer applications.
** Supervisory Responsibilities
*** Direct oversight of:  + Two (2) or more salaried team members  + One (1) management support position  + Approximately 20+ hourly team members
** Travel
* ** Domestic travel approximately four (4) times per year.
** Biosecurity Requirements
*** Work is performed in a biosecure environment requiring showering prior to entering the facility and possibly multiple times throughout the workday.
* Appropriate clothing and footwear are provided by the company.
* Jewelry is not permitted on the job site, except for medical .
* Must be willing to sign an agreement to avoid contact with avian species (e.g., chickens, ducks, birds).
* Must follow all company Animal Welfare policies and Cobb Farms Hatcheries Biosecurity Standards at all times.
** Physical Requirements
*** Must follow safe lifting techniques.
* Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, talk, and hear.
* Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
** Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
*** Must follow all required safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment when visiting facilities.
