Radiation Control Supervisor
Position Overview:
Responsible for overseeing radiological control activities associated with high purity depleted uranium (HPDU) operations within a chemical production environment s role ensures compliance with applicable radiological safety regulations, implements radiation protection programs, and supervises radiological control technicians. The position works closely with operations, engineering, and safety personnel to maintain safe handling, processing, and control of DU materials while fostering a strong radiological safety culture.

On-site in Jonesborough, Tennessee
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Health Physics, Radiation Protection, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered. 7+ years of experience in radiological control, preferably in nuclear, DU processing, or chemical manufacturing environments. Demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience in radiological control operations. Strong knowledge of radiological protection principles, contamination control, and regulatory requirements. Experience with depleted uranium handling and chemical processing operations preferred.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple disciplines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and radiological data management systems. Must be a U.S. citizen. Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) clearance.
