Summary:

At The Life Church, we believe in creating dynamic experiences to connect people to our mission. The Content Manager plays a key part in this by developing and distributing engaging media across various platforms. This role includes creating and executing strategies to connect with both church members and a global audience.

The ideal candidate thinks creatively, takes initiative, is detail-oriented and can use discernment in decision making. They enjoy working through the creative process with a team of designers, photographers, videographers and other skilled professionals. This position is approximately 40 hours per week, including weekend services and special events.

What you will do*:

• Support your Location Pastor in building a life-giving, vibrant culture at The Life Church
• Create meaningful digital content for use on multiple digital media platforms (i.e. Instagram reels, You Tube shorts etc.)
• Own the details - from planning, scheduling and posting to responding and engagement
• Work closely with Design and Marketing Departments to ensure projects effectively support and align with the church's mission, vision and values
• Capture dynamic video footage during services, outreach, events and promo shoots
• Collaborate with the entire Design Team to innovate and execute impactful experiences
• Set in motion new ideas and strategies to increase social media engagement
• Collaborate across churchwide teams to determine and solve campaign objectives
• Lead and care for a team of volunteers to assist with social media capture and content creation
• Stay current with industry trends and look for new ways to improve how we communicate

• Availability for services, regular office hours, and occasional evenings or special events
