Client Engagement Specialist – Automotive Customer Experience

Hyundai of Union County is looking for a motivated, organized, and customer-focused Client Engagement Specialist to join our team in Monroe, NC.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys talking with customers, staying on top of follow-up, scheduling appointments, and helping create a smooth experience from the first online or phone inquiry to the dealership visit. You will work closely with our sales team, managers, and customers to help connect shoppers with the right information, the right appointment time, and the right next step.

What You’ll Do
  • Respond quickly and professionally to internet inquiries, phone calls, texts, and emails

  • Schedule sales and service-related appointments

  • Confirm appointments and help improve customer show rates

  • Follow up with customers before and after their dealership visit

  • Manage customer communication through the dealership CRM

  • Keep accurate notes, tasks, and follow-up records

  • Support sales managers and sales consultants with customer updates

  • Help convert online and phone inquiries into showroom visits

  • Maintain a helpful, upbeat, and professional communication style

  • Track daily calls, appointments, confirmations, and customer outcomes

  • Assist with owner follow-up, sold customer follow-up, and unsold customer follow-up

  • Help create a smooth customer experience from first contact to dealership visit

What We’re Looking For
  • Previous dealership customer communication, internet lead, call center, appointment setting, sales support, or CRM experience preferred

  • Automotive experience is a strong plus

  • Excellent phone, text, and email communication skills

  • Comfortable making outbound follow-up calls

  • Able to handle inbound customer inquiries professionally

  • Organized, consistent, and detail-oriented

  • Comfortable using computers, CRM tools, email, and texting platforms

  • Positive attitude and team-first mindset

  • Reliable, punctual, and coachable

  • Able to follow a structured process

  • Strong customer service mindset

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment
