Ready to be the ultimate party starter and high-energy superstar at Slick City Action Park? As an Event Host, you'll turn every birthday, group celebration, and special event into an unforgettable, adrenaline-packed adventure that families will remember forever!

You bring massive energy, infectious enthusiasm, and seamless coordination to every party, ensuring guests feel the thrill from the moment they walk in.

Position Summary

In this role you create magical, high-energy moments where kids and families laugh, play, and make memories that last a lifetime. Aim to thrive on excitement, love being the center of fun, and help deliver the most epic experiences in town.

Responsibilities
  • Event Confirmation & Check-In Confirm party details, complete waivers, process payments, and gear up guests with wristbands and City Socks for a swift start.
  • Guest Greeting & Communication Welcome party guests with contagious energy, explain the event flow, and remain the friendly contact point all day.
  • Event Coordination & Flow Lead birthday groups to their tables, guide them through attractions, and keep the party running on schedule while ensuring safety and fun.
  • Food & Supplies Oversight Coordinate food service, keep tables stocked, and oversee delivery and setup to maintain seamless operations.
  • Attraction Guidance & Safety Demonstrate how to slide, share rules, and help guests navigate the park safely.
  • Setup, Cleanup & Guest Satisfaction Prep event spaces before arrival, maintain cleanliness and energy during the party, and handle teardown afterward, ensuring every host feels supported and satisfied.
  • Qualifications
    • Prior guest-facing experience (entertainment, hospitality, retail, or recreation) preferred but not required.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills – enforce rules while staying friendly, professional, and full of energy.
    • Reliable, responsible, and able to stay sharp and upbeat in a fast-paced environment.
    • Comfortable handling basic transactions and using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
    • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
    • Bilingual skills are a plus and highly valued.

    • Ability to walk, climb stairs, bend, stoop, reach, and stretch while supervising attractions and assisting guests.
    • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs (restocking supplies, moving equipment, party/event setups).
    • Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations, including moving rapidly across attractions.
    • Comfortable working in a loud, fast-paced environment with flashing lights and high guest activity.
    • Ability to communicate clearly with guests and team members in a noisy environment.
    Work Schedule

    Team members may be scheduled for a variety of shifts, including morning, day, evening, or night shifts.
